1. Scope
This policy applies to powerflux.com.au, PowerFlux enquiry and demo forms, and direct business communications with PowerFlux.
A separate product or client agreement may apply when you use the PowerClub product, API platform or a delivered client system.
2. Information we collect
Enquiry details such as name, business email, phone number, organisation or venue details, website URL, selected service and the business problem you describe.
Technical and usage information such as the page used to submit an enquiry, preferred language, browser user-agent, analytics events, approximate location and referring page where made available by our analytics provider.
Project and commercial information you choose to provide during discovery, delivery, support or billing. Please do not submit passwords, API keys, confidential datasets or sensitive personal information through the general website forms.
3. How we collect it
We usually collect information directly from you when you complete a form, email us, book a discussion or work with us on a project.
We also use Google Analytics to understand aggregate website use. Your browser or device may provide cookies and similar identifiers, subject to your settings.
4. Why we use it
To respond to enquiries, assess fit, arrange demonstrations and prepare proposals.
To deliver and support contracted services or products, maintain business records, improve our website, measure marketing performance, protect our systems and meet legal obligations.
The public website enquiry form does not make automated decisions that significantly affect your rights or interests.
5. Sharing and overseas processing
We may provide information to service providers that support website hosting, databases, analytics, communications, security and professional advice, only for the relevant service or lawful purpose.
These providers may process information in Australia, the United States or other countries where they or their subcontractors operate. Provider locations can change. We do not sell personal information.
We may disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
6. Retention and security
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably required for the enquiry, customer relationship, operational records, dispute handling and legal obligations. When it is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information, including controlled administrative access, authenticated management areas, input validation and managed hosting. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Access, correction and complaints
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request correction, or ask us to delete information where it is no longer required. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law permits or requires it.
Send privacy questions or complaints to our contact email. We will review the issue and respond directly. If an applicable Australian privacy law gives you further complaint rights, you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
8. Changes
We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The current version and update date will remain available on this page.
